Alice

January 6, 2019

Hey now day, don’t run away
Stand still sun, and do not sway
the breeze is light and the air is clear
We must dance through all this madness

Bees will buzz, like tweedle-dee
flying sweet and close to me
seek not the night, nor yesteryear
for the world is numb to your sadness

Like Alice asked the cheshire cat
What time is this, which way is that?
in wonderland, our dreams cohere
so we must not take this life too serious

When david played his secret chord
Did you dance or were you bored?
Why must we live in such austere
while our hearts are so ambitious?

‘neath golden stars, and meteors
the sky does bloom, but never falls
do not despair; do not fear
With the morning will come justice
